We are excited to announce that the 2025 Alpha Ome We are excited to announce that the 2025 Alpha Omega Honors Gala has reached and exceeded all of its event goals. Record breaking attendance of 400, over $150K in sponsorship and donations, the Harry Agganis Statue along with the 2013 and 2018 Red Sox World Series Trophies will be present at the event. We want to thank the relentless leadership of our co-chairs, Bill Galatis and Nick Ypsilantis along with committee members who made it happen. The 26.2 Foundation and Alpha Omega Council, with The 26.2 Foundation and Alpha Omega Council, with support from The Examined Life, proudly honored this year’s outstanding students at the Marathon Education Program Awards Ceremony 🎓🏛️ Since 2014, this program has empowered over 1,000 students each year to demonstrate curiosity, creativity, and commitment in exploring Ancient Greece, civic engagement, and the enduring spirit of the marathon. This year we celebrated 15 winners from Hopkinton, Ashland, and Boston Latin Academy Middle Schools. We were especially honored to welcome the Consul General of Greece in Boston, who spoke to the students about Greece’s rich legacy of history, education, and resilience - timeless lessons that continue to inspire. This program remains a powerful force in shaping the next generation through the values of perseverance, cultural understanding, and academic excellence.
